Mapping the territory leads us to identify vines with exclusive characteristics, which are at the origin of our Crus. The Baccu Line is the most complete fruit of zoning, the scientific investigation that allows us to make the most of our grapes, area by area, hectare by hectare.
Over 500 meters, in the heart of the ancestral island
The Cannonau Baccu Is Baus and Baccu S’Alinu are born from one and only one vineyard with exclusive characteristics. The altitude of the crops, respectively 500 and over 700 metres, is the prerogative that makes these vineyards unrepeatable in the viticultural agrosystem. Only from a profound knowledge of the land can great wines be born.
Identity is reflected in history
The Baccu vineyards belong to the centenary history of Jerzu: they are the first to have been cultivated by the communities that lived perched in the mountains, when settlements on the coast were not yet widespread because threats and enemies mostly arrived from the sea.
