The research activity in partnership with authoritative and recognized institutes leads us to continuously deepen the study of the territory. We have thus intercepted nine sub-areas with peculiar characteristics, to improve the offer and variety of our wines.
Knowing the territory means enhancing its characteristics through its wines. Each sub-area of our cellar corresponds to vineyards that are homogeneous in terms of age, yield per hectare and altitude. This particular classification, called zoning, allows you to experiment with the most suitable winemaking processes so that each component expresses itself at its best. Josto Miglior is born from this approach and from the vineyards at 600 meters above sea level, the Cannonau di Sardegna Doc Rosso Riserva Jerzu with a ruby red color with garnet reflections and an intense bouquet.
At 500 meters above sea level, the grapes selected with extreme rigor to give life to Chuerra make this full-bodied, intensely red Cannonau di Sardegna Rosso DOC Riserva Jerzu the full expression of the most ancient Ogliastra, where the production techniques are faithful to the past and excellence continues to feed on tradition.
The Marghia vineyards grow at 400 meters above sea level, the Cannonau di Sardegna Rosso Doc Jerzu with its ruby color and violet reflections. The scent of Cannonau grapes with hints of ripe blackberry and small undergrowth fruits are a sensorial story generated by the in-depth and accurate study of the land and territory.
